Get ready to dance!
Commercial Femme is a dance class where various dance styles are mixed into fierce, sensual, and explosive choreographies. The main focus of the class is to further develop your dance technique, rhythm, and movement qualities, but more importantly your performance. Through practicing in smaller groups and dancing for videos we're creating a VIBE where you are free to experiment with your own performance. It's all about confidence!
The goal of the course is for you to get familiar with this particular dance genre through different choreographies, therefore touching upon different dance styles that have influenced this class. The class is strongly influenced by commercial dance styles such as Hip-hop, Jazz Funk, Vogue, and Waacking. The class is set up for dancers of all levels who are willing to work hard, improve their performance, and of course have some fun.

Wouter Vertogen is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher whom has mixed both the contemporary and commerical dance worlds throughout his career. Born in the Netherlands, Wouter received his education from ArtEZ, Institute of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor's of Dance degree. After working with the contemporary dance company, Konzert Theatre Bern in Switzerland, Wouter shifted his focus back to the commercial world with an international contract on Celebrity Cruises.
As a freelance artist, Wouter danced in and choreographed for various music videos and dance films. He has choreographed and directed large scale show productions in the Netherlands besides choreohraphing various projects internationally and performing with his own collective 'The Midgnight Monkeys'.
Wouter is an international teaching artist, his teaching styles include; Commercial Femme, Jazz Funk and Contemporary Flow.
