About Julia
Born in Murcia (Spain) in 1994. She started studying ballet at the age of eight at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Murcia. After finishing her ballet studies in 2013 she moved to Rotterdam (The Netherlands) to study the Bachelor of Dance at Codarts University for the Arts, changing her focus from ballet to modern dance and choreography. There, she developed an interest in contemporary art and interdisciplinary performance. After graduating in 2017, she moved to Guangzhou, China, where she participated in different projects as a freelance performer, choreographer and dance educator. In 2018 she joined the 7th International Interdisciplinary No Borders Project with Vangelis Legakis in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and since 2019 she is a certified facilitator of Contact Beyond Contact level I and II.
