Lieke Verheul is the founder of LTdans and CoDans, a dancer, choreographer and entrepreneur. She graduated from Northern Ballet School, Manchester in 2012 as Classical Ballet dancer. At Manchester City Ballet she danced parts of the corps de ballet at productions like Giselle and Nutcracker. In July 2016 she graduated from the bachelor of Codarts, Dance in Education. During her study she performed in choreographies from Hilde Elbers, Jérôme Meyer and Neel Verdoorn. In 2013 she was part of the Christmas performance the Nutcracker from De Dutch Don't Dance Division. In 2014 she created the choreography for the musical Pippin of VirgielTheater, de yearly production of the students union Sanctus Virigillius. In 2018 she worked with PRA on an elderly project as a dancer. At the moment she is creating a piece for elderly homes with 3 other dancers and 2 musicians.
Next to teaching elderly dance, parent/childdance, toddler dance, ballet for children, modern/jazz and body awareness at LTdans, she is currently teaching ballet at the Circus department of Codarts and working as a supervisor for the first and second year students of the Teacher Department of Codarts.
Lieke has more than 12 years of teaching experience in different styles and age groups. She loves to teach all levels and ages. Discovery and fun are fundamental keywords for Lieke her classes. Confidence, awareness, health and fun can all be found in dance classes according to her. Dance means discovering yourself and the world around you.
