Kinetic Awareness® Intensive

Kinetic Awareness® allows you to understand your own body-mind in movement, from your minimum to maximum, at any time. In the Ball Work workshop, you will learn how to use hollow rubber balls of various sizes to help you reach an extra deep relaxation and ease of movement.

Note: Please bring two (2) large blankets for yourself, and wear clothes that allow you to move freely, without hindering, plus an extra warm sweater & socks. This work can also be done if you are recovering from an injury, in that case, please contact the teacher well in advance.

This intensive will count towards the Kinetic Awareness® Teacher Training Program.

•bridging technique• takes the experience further and helps you find better coordination, alignment of the legs, turnout of the hips. It gives you a space to explore your full movement options and how you can use your individual body for a maximum of efficiency and pleasure.

You can work at your own level, with the given information, and will get time to experiment for yourself.

If there is enough time left, we will explore the potential of Open Form Composition, where some elements of dance are pre-set from the beginning, others are decided in the moment of performance ...
