Tamar Riani is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and entrepreneur. July 2016 she graduated from the bachelor of Codarts, Dance in Education. During her study she performed in choreographies from Hilde Elbers, Jérôme Meyer, Filip van Huffel and Neel Verdoorn. During her internship she travelled to Israel to study 'Gaga', the movement language from Ohad Naharin. After that she followed two Gaga Intensives in Antwerp, Belgium and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During her graduation period Tamar did her research on Modern Jazz. After graduation her research continued which resulted in creating a jazz choreography called "For You". As a dancer she is training with Ruth Roosendaal to specialise herself further in tap dance.
While graduating Tamar started working together with Lieke Verheul. The two of them are the founders of LTdans, the first dance school at Katendrecht, which opened in december 2015. At LTdans you can find a wide variety of classes for all ages. There are classes for children as young as two! Be welcome to try toddler dance, Parent/child dance, Body Awareness, dance for 55+, LTdansgroep, Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Boysclass, Dancemix & Tapdance.
